South Stack Lighthouse, Anglesey

The South Stack Lighthouse is built on the summit of a small island off the north-west coast of Holy Island, Anglesey, Wales. It was built in 1809 to warn ships of the dangerous rocks below. I have painted this lighthouse so many times because I have a persoal interest in Anglesey, having frequented since a toddler. This painting was sculpted using texture paste, then painted using acrylic paints and inks.
