Forget Me Not – Remembering 22 Victims At The Arena Bombing

On 22 may 2017, an islamist extremist suicide bomber detonated a shrapnel-laden homemade bomb as people were leaving the Manchester Arena following a concert by American singer Ariana Grande. 22 people died, (23 if one including the attacker), and 1,017 were injured, some of them children.
I painted this to raise funds for the poor souls who died and all families affected. It was also cathartic for me to do as I felt the pain of this tragedy too.
The painting has 22 forget me nots and sold almost as quickly as I painted it!
