Smuggler Behind Bars

I designed, sculpted and painted this large item to be inset flush into an interior wall. it is a smuggler behind bars, which is an old arched gate that i cut off; I sourced legitimate Liverpool docks tea chests onto which a sketched the smuggler. the interior apeture is 10cm behind the bars. It’s a one-off ~ it is a very heavy installation piece which needs a professional builder to inset this into a wall. I get approached by interior designers and companies requiring bespoke items.
