Isle Of Barra, Outer Hebrides

Barra is the most southerly of the inhabited islands in the Outer Hebrides. I am very proud to say that Barra is where my family history of ancestors originate from (my maiden name is McNeill). Barra has the most beautiful breathtaking beaches, with ‘our’ medieval Kisimul Castle in Castlebay. Barra is a special place; it is literally my Heaven!
