Park House Hill & Chrome Hill, Derbyshire

This painting was the result of my many, many sketching days out and about. This was overlooking Park House Hill and Chrome Hill which is in the Peak District National Park in the English county of Derbyshire. It lies on the north side of the River Dove, close to the border with Staffordshire. . The painting is executed in dry-brush acrylic and matt medium…no water was used at all and it’s on box canvas. This technique gives the painting a translucency. Contact me for the price.
